Hiace 07EV’s first OTA upgrade adds drift function for four-wheel drive models

Recently, BYD officially announced that its Hiace 07EV will undergo its first OTA upgrade. This upgrade covers two new functions and more than 10 functional optimizations. It is reported that this OTA upgrade will be pushed out one after another starting from 8 pm on July 4.

After this OTA update, the ultra-low temperature start function and the drift function of four-wheel drive models will be added; at the same time, more than 10 functions of the vehicle will be optimized for experience. BYD Hiace 07EV was launched in May, with a total of 4 models launched, priced from 189,800 to 239,800 yuan. The new car is built on BYD's e-platform 3.0 Evo, adopts a marine aesthetic design, and has many technological configurations such as CTB and God's Eye. It provides single-motor rear drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive. There are two types of high and low power, plus the dual-motor version, a total of three power options are available, and the cruising range is 550km and 610km.
