We learned from official channels that Renault’s new Espace will make its global debut on March 28. As the sixth generation model in the family, the new Espace has completed the transformation from an MPV to an SUV. In terms of styling, the new Espace is expected to adopt an appearance design similar to Austral, and the front face design may be similar to the Megane E-Tech Electric. Compared with Austral, the new car is different in that it has a longer body, wheelbase and better interior space, with a length of about 4720 mm.
In terms of power system, it is expected to be similar to Renault Austral, and will increase the lineup of electrified models. It is expected to provide plug-in hybrid models with a pure electric range of about 48 kilometers, and fuel models will also be available. It will be launched simultaneously and is expected to include 1.2T and 1.3T engines.
