According to Tesla’s official Weibo a few days ago, Tesla China announced the launch of a “0 down payment” campaign, applicable to Model 3 and Model Y. The event period is from April 4 to June 30, 2024.
According to previous reports, Tesla has lowered the prices of Model 3, Model Y, Model S, and Model X. The price of Model Y has dropped to RMB 249,900, the price of Model Y long-range version has dropped to RMB 290,900, and the price of Model Y high-performance version has dropped to RMB 354,900. The price of the Model S has dropped to RMB 684,900, and the price of the Model S PLAID version has dropped to RMB 814,900. The price of Model X has dropped to RMB 724,900, and the price of Model X PLAID has dropped to RMB 824,900.
In addition, Tesla released its financial report for the first quarter of 2024. Data show that Tesla’s revenue in the first quarter of this year was US$21.301 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 9%; total gross profit was US$3.696 billion, a decrease of 18% from US$4.511 billion in the same period last year; the total gross profit margin was 17.4%, an increase of 17.4%. It dropped 1.9 percentage points from 19.3% in the same period last year.
